Is she available for emergencies, and how does that work?
Yes—Dr. Rexroth provides 24/7 emergency coverage for active, established clients. If your animal is in urgent need of care—such as severe colic, a wound, or trauma—please contact her immediately using the emergency number provided. Having your horse’s basic vitals and location ready helps expedite care.
What kinds of animals does she treat and what services does she offer?
Dr. Rexroth treats horses and limited small ruminants (such as goats and sheep). Her services include routine wellness, preventative medicine, diagnostic imaging, emergency care, ophthalmology, and breeding.
How should I prepare for a farm call?
To ensure a smooth visit, please have the animal in a safe, accessible location with good footing, minimal hazards, and an adult helper to hold or restrain the animal calmly. Have any relevant records available (vaccinations, prior treatments), and if the animal is sedated or injured, follow safe handling instructions.
What payment options and wellness plans do you offer?
