Pre-Paid Equine Wellness Plans

There are three plan bundles available for 2026

Pre-paid wellness plans save you over 20% off the regular price of these services. They also save in the long run by identifying potential issues at regularly scheduled exams that can be promptly addressed, which is good for both you and the health of your horse. Wellness plans lock in the price of included services for the year, meaning no unexpected price increases.

Terms & Conditions

Plans should be paid in full by March 1 2026, or before the first scheduled appointment, whichever comes first.

Payment may be made by check, or by credit card. Only accounts that are fully up to date will be eligible for these plans. No additional discounts will be applied to bundled services included in any plan.

Refunds: Pro-rated refunds will be made in the event of the sale or death of a horse. The program may also be transferred to another horse or the new owner of a sale horse that remains in the practice area. Refunds will only be made if your account with us is current and up to date.

Additional Horses: From the 3rd horse additional horses are $30 off each.

The plan expires January 1st of each year and is considered rendered in full after the fall visit when all bundled services have been performed.

Any boosters needed to complete primary vaccination courses or additonal services will be charged in addition to the bundled services at regular rates, including regular rate discounts for payment at the time of service.

Equine Wellness Plan Details

Basic Plan - $600

For horses that stay close to home and need only the essentials.
The Basic Plan is ideal for horses that live a relaxed lifestyle with minimal travel. It provides essential preventive care and protection through two annual farm visits.

Included Services

Physical Exams (Spring & Fall)

Each visit includes a complete physical examination to establish health baselines and identify early changes:
  • Temperature
  • Heart auscultation for rate, rhythm and to check for murmurs
  • Lung auscultation for respiratory assessment
  • Limb palpation
  • Ophthalmic (eye) evaluation
  • Dermatologic (skin and coat) examination

Fecal Egg Count & Deworming Review

A microscopic manure test determines parasite load and helps design or confirm an effective deworming program.

Vaccinations

  • Spring: Eastern & Western Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, West Nile Virus, Rhino/Flu (EWT+WNV+RF)
  • Fall: Rabies

Prime Plan - $1000

For performance and show horses exposed to higher risks through travel and competition.
The Prime Plan includes everything from the Basic Plan, plus enhanced preventive care for horses that travel, compete, or are frequently exposed to others. It ensures USEF vaccine compliance and adds a dental exam and float, as well as a Coggins test

Dental Examination and Float (with Sedation)

  • Full dental exam using speculum identifies sharp points, loose or broken teeth, and mouth lesions
  • Dental float of teeth to ensure comfort and efficient chewing

Digital Coggins Test

  • Required for shows and interstate travel
  • Convenient digital format allows easy printing and sharing of results

Deworming

  • Based on the worm shedding profile of your horse, either Equimax® or Quest® dewormer will be administered

Comprehensive Vaccinations

  • Rhino/Flu (administered twice yearly for USEF compliance)
  • Botulism

Senior Plan - $1300

For horses aged 15 and older needing deeper diagnostic insight and long-term health monitoring.
The Senior Plan includes vaccines tailored to older horses' lifestyles, plus targeted diagnostics to detect early signs of metabolic or organ-related changes common in aging horses. It also includes a Coggins test, dental exam and float, two fecal egg counts, and deworming, as in the Prime Plan.

  • CBC & Serum Chemistry: Screens for organ function, electrolyte balance, and immune health
  • ACTH Baseline Test:  Monitors for Cushing's disease and evaluates medication response in treated horses
